Fenel Cherubin is the visionary founder of Haiti Relief Center, driven by a deep commitment to pay it forward. Throughout his life, he has received support, guidance, and opportunities from others. These experiences shaped his belief that true success is not only measured by personal achievement, but the ability to uplift others in return. His mission is clear: To uplift others and create lasting change for future generations.
Better together
In 2013, he took his first step toward this mission by launching a small initiative to support widows in his community. Each month, he provided food assistance, bringing relief and dignity to vulnerable families.
In 2023, Fenel Cherubin moved to the United States, where he began pursuing a career in nursing. This experience further strengthened his vision and expanded his understanding of healthcare systems. Motivated by this growth, he developed a stronger ambition: to build a larger community clinic capable of serving even more people with quality care.
Building on this foundation of compassion and service, in 2019 he established INSTITUTION MIXTE CHERUBIN (IMC), starting with just 35 students. Alongside the school, he introduced a mobile clinic to expand access to basic healthcare—addressing both education and health, two pillars essential for community development.By 2026, the school has grown significantly, now serving over 200 students, reflecting both the trust of the community and the impact of his work.
While pursuing his studies in United States, he makes a personal commitment to expand his impact by:
• Saving his own money to purchase land
• Planning the construction of a community clinic
• Continuing to invest in the growth in the school
Today, his journey continues with the creation of Haiti Relief Center in December 2025, a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education and healthcare in
underserved communities, particularly in Grand-Goâve, Haiti—where the founder continues to
transform gratitude into action. “Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.”
